Seven Churches of Revelation – Touring Turkey
Traveling Thru The Bible Show takes us on a journey to Israel and stop at the heart of Jesus’ Ministry. Touring Turkey – The Seven Churches of Revelation are seven major churches of Early Christianity, as mentioned in the New Testament Book of Revelation. In Revelation, on the Greek island of Patmos, Jesus Christ instructs his servant John to: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
The seven churches are located in:
Ephesus (Metropolis of Ephesus)
Smyrna (Metropolis of Smyrna)
Pergamon (Metropolis of Pergamon)
Sardis (See of Sardis)
Philadelphia (Metropolis of Philadelphia)
and Laodicea, near Denizli (see Laodicean Church)

The most important decision you will make regarding a Spiritual tour is choosing the company that will arrange the tour for you. You are responsible to and for your people and must be sure they receive the best tour for their dollars spent. We present to you Maranatha Tours, Inc., and suggest you compare other companies to Maranatha before making a commitment.
Maranatha Tours specializes in Christian tours that visit places of the Bible or history that has developed our knowledge of the Bible and believes it is a ministry as well as a business. We have established a record of service and growth unique in this very competitive market.
Maranatha Tours was founded by Richard S. Reilly and Michael S. Reilly to promote Christian group travel. Dick Reilly’s unique background as a missionary in India, director of a mission society for 16 years, pastor, evangelist and a Youth for Christ leader, brought unusual insight into the ways and means of successful group travel. Though Dick Reilly has passed on, his Christian philosophy used in establishing Maranatha Tours lives on. Dick’s son, Michael, as President of Fellowship Tours for 16 years, managed one of the largest tour operations for Christian group travel in the United States and has been President of Maranatha since it’s opening. We are family owned and have his son, Greg in sales, daughter Jennifer handling all our operations. You will be very pleased with our staff’s professionalism and our concern for each detail.
TIP OF THE WEEK: WATCH THAT BAGGAGE
WATCH THAT BAGGAGE: The airlines allow you to check two pieces with a combined linear dimension not over 107 inches. No piece may exceed 62 inches (length + width + height) in size, nor 50 pounds in weight on transatlantic flights. Care must be taken here, however, since flights between overseas cities allow only 44 pounds total combined weight per person. The one carry-on piece allowed may not exceed a linear dimension of 45 inches, and must be able to fit under the seat. A briefcase or camera bag may be considered a carry-on by the airlines. Suitcases should be sturdy and locked with keys or combinations. Bring an extra key for each case and keep it separate from your regular set. Be sure all bags are clearly identified with baggage tags attached securely inside and outside showing your name, home address, and tour group. Attach special Maranatha Tours baggage labels for easy group identification. We strongly suggest that EACH PERSON TAKE ONE SUITCASE due to the LIMITED STORAGE SPACE on the motor coaches. Any porterage included in your tour price has been based on one piece per person. You may be have to move your own luggage during the tour, so be sure it’s not too heavy! Tipping for handling any additional pieces will be the responsibility of the individual (including any carryon luggage not personally handled throughout the tour) and this surcharge should be given to your tour host before leaving the States. Additional fees or surcharges are the responsibility of the passenger and needs to be paid upon check-in.
